Keto Party Mix is a modified version of Chex Mix. Its a handful of crunchy, salty deliciousness minus the grains and heavy carbs of the traditional cereal and pretzel version.
Party Mix reminds me of home and family. My Mom and Dad make party mix at least a couple of times a year, but it is always around at Christmas. Everyone is waiting for it, some getting their own personal container! This Keto Party mix makes a great gift, my parents wrap the nut cans with wrapping paper and top with a bow! Super Cute and festive!
The only real changes to my Mom’s recipe is the cereal and pretzels are replaced with Pork rinds and Whisps. Now if you’re not a fan of pork rinds do NOT walk away just yet, trust me the seasoning and baking makes them taste so similar to the cereal of traditional chex mix you might just consider yourself a fan! I beg you to give it a try!

How to Make Keto Party Mix…
Start off by breaking down your pork rinds, to about the size of chex cereal. I sometimes use a sharp thin knife. My favorite Rada Knife works great!. Place your broken pork rinds in a large bowl and add your Nuts and Whisps.
Next melt your butter and add in your seasoning and worcestershire sauce stir well to combine.
Then pour the mixture on, stirring gently to coat. Bake for 80-90 minutes stirring every 20 minutes. This recipe makes a large batch so I spread mine out on two cookie sheets. Once you remove from the oven place the hot mix onto paper towels to cool, and then its ready to enjoy!

Tips and Tricks….
To get you pork rinds broken down into chex size pieces you can break apart with your hands or cut with a thin sharp knife. I use Rada knives, they are great everyday knives. A good majority of mine are 20 years old, the occasional sharpening and they are like new! I am not an affiliate, I just really love Rada Knives.
Whisps come in a variety of flavors. My favorite in this recipe is Cheddar, they seem to be less salty than parmesan. You can omit the whisps if you can’t find them or don’t have them. You could replace whisps with additional pork rinds or other keto/low carb crunchy snack, even more nuts!
This recipe makes a fairly large batch but can easily be cut in half.
