How to make Easy Cranberry Sauce
Start by placing everything (Yup, everything) into your slow cooker. No need to even thaw the cranberries if frozen!
Give it a good stir, cover and cook on High for 2 hours or Low for 4. Its a good idea to stir every 30-45 minutes, but don’t stress about it – I like to ensure everything is combined as the cranberries pop and the sauce thickens up.
When its done, mash any remaining whole berries with a spoon if you like it smoother. Let it cool then chill in the fridge. It thickens even more as it cools.
Tips and Tricks
Pick the best cranberries? Fresh cranberries should feel firm. They should be bright red, but a few white ones are fine, they’re just less ripe.
Buy Cranberries when they are on sale, because you can freeze them, and for this recipe they can go straight into the crockpot frozen.
Stovetop Version: While this recipe was created to make in a crockpot, this can easily be made on the stove-top with the same results and quicker. Same ingredients – bring to a boil in a pot, reduce to simmer for 12-15 minutes. Just be sure to watch the heat to keep it from scorching and stir frequently.
Sugar Free Version: I have a Keto version of this recipe on my website here, or simply swap the 2 cups of sugar for your favorite sweetener.
Gifting Tip: Lade into cute 8 oz jelly jars, add a fabric lid cover and ribbon. Keeps in the fridge 2 weeks or you can freeze it up to 3 months.

Make this once and it’ll be your signature holiday move every year. Your house will smell incredible and people will fight over the last spoonful.
