Zane’s spicy pretzel sticks are an addictive snack that is easy to make, but hard to stop eating!
Last week Zane (11 years old) came home from school raving about some pretzel sticks his friend Autumn brought to school to share. Zane wanted to try his own hand at recreating this snack and he is so excited to share this recipe with you.
How to make Zane’s Spicy Pretzel Sticks…
You need just 5 simple ingredients. Oil, Hidden Valley Ranch Dip Mix, Cayenne Pepper, Garlic Powder, and Pretzel Sticks.
In a large bowl combine Oil, Hidden Valley ranch dip mix, Cayenne Pepper and Garlic Powder. Whisk together to combine.
Next, pour your Pretzel sticks into a gallon Ziplock bag and pour the mixture over the pretzels.
Zane’s favorite part – SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE! Shake the bag to coat all of the pretzels with the mixture.
Finally, pour the pretzels out on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake at 200 for 40 minutes.
Make sure to let the pretzel’s cool before putting into a sealed container for storage.
Tips and Tricks…
Zane’s spicy pretzel sticks are perfectly spicy, but if you are not a fan of heat, cut the Cayenne pepper back to ¼ to ½ tsp.
This snack would make a great gift for a hostess or neighbor, just put in a mason jar with a ribbon or get one of these great little snack containers for the holidays. We have them and they stack – and look super cute!
Use other pretzel shapes and sizes – These recipe would work great with hard pretzel pieces or even Snyder’s Snaps!
