Easy Keto Cheeseburger Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef Can use other ground meat like Turkey
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups Almond Flour
  • 2 Eggs (Lg)
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream
  • 4 tbsp Melted butter
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 tsp Apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  • Brown your ground beef, onion, and garlic with a little salt and pepper. 
  • Drain the grease and place the ground beef mixture in the bottom of a 9inch pie pan.  
  • Add your shredded cheddar cheese to the beef mixture, and give it a quick stir to combine. 
  • In a bowl combine your almond flour, eggs, sour cream, melted butter, baking soda and apple cider vinegar. Yes just toss it all in a bowl and give it a stir. 
  • Once all ingredients are incorporated spread your batter to of the meat and cheese.
  • Place into a 350 degree oven for about 20 minutes or until the crust is a nice golden brown.

Notes

Use a slotted spoon to dish your ground beef mixture into the pie pan. Doing this will drain the grease all in one step!  
Use pre-shredded cheddar cheese from the store to save on prep time. 
Add thinly sliced tomatoes to the top of the biscuit mixture before baking it will add color and flavor!
Try add ins like Bacon to the beef mixture for a Keto “bacon” cheeseburger pie. Another idea, add pickled jalapenos for spice!  
Looking for a breakfast pie?  Try this with some ground sausage!  A lighter version, use ground turkey or chicken instead of ground beef!  
Serve this up with a toss salad for a complete meal!
